Bros.
As those of you who sat next to me in meeting noticed, my laptop kind of conked out during the middle of meeting, taking about half of the minutes with it in its little tantrum. So the minutes will be forthcoming pending a viable solution to their non-existence. However, I am not without interesting goodies to share with you guys, so here is my ad-lib attempt at a Whattup. I probably will make a mistake, so keep checking the message boards for the most up to date information.
Thank you to all who sent me their continuity reports. Funny how the only old business we actually had at meeting was from my own motion that I forgot to bring up. For those of you yet to submit a report, I have attached my continuity report to this email to serve as a template for what I had in mind, so please make yours conform in format. Those of you who have emailed me your report, if you could find it in the kindness of your heart to resubmit it in the format suggested, I would orgasm with delight. If not, I can format it myself once I have everyone's report submitted.

Aluminum chloride
At first glance, aluminum chloride appears to be an inorganic salt with the empirical formula AlCl3; however, aluminum, like other group III elements, tends to form covalent bonds with halides. The energetically preferred coordination number of four causes AlCl3 to form the dimer Al2Cl6 shown, even in the vapor phase. AlCl3 is perhaps the quintessential Lewis acid; it reacts violently with water to form strongly acidic solutions. It has been used for decades in industry, most notably as a catalyst in Friedel–Crafts alkylation and acylation reactions, as well as in dozens of other processes. Its hexahydrate is the active ingredient in many antiperspirants.
